Details on how to get to Zagreb, Croatia can be found here . Note that if you use google maps, use the address Bijenicka 49, Zagreb, Croatia. Briefly:

  • by plane.
The Zagreb Airport (Pleso) is located 15 km south of the city. Connections from the airport to the city (Main Bus Station, marked on map below) can be made by bus transfer which takes half an hour and runs every half an hour. One way ticket is about 4-5 euros. In front of the bus station there are taxis waiting, or you can cross the street and use a tram to get around. To get to the "Jelacic Square" (downtown, location of Hotel Dubrovnik for example), take tram number 6, direction Crnomerec, 5 stations away. To get to the train station "Glavni kolodvor" (close to downtown, location of Hotel Regent Esplanada for example), take either tram 2 or tram 6, direction Crnomerec, 3 stations away. See the page for transportation for a more detailed tram schedule and info, and how to purchase tickets.
Alternatively the taxi is about 20-25 euros (standard taxi company. There is a significantly cheaper one - Taxi Cammeo, same quality as the other one, is called by phoning 00 385 1 1212, but it is not usually available from the airport, don't ask why...).

  • by train or by bus
The Main Bus and Railway Station are located very close to the city center and are shown on the map below.
