Research activities: Coordinator of the CMS pixel detector group at RBI. CMS Tracker Institution Board member for RBI. Pixel detector group leader in IPP, ETH Zurich, co-convener of the CMS Phase 1 Upgrade pixel module group, Construction Database for the CMS Phase 1 Upgrade pixel barrel detector project leader (2011-2017). Commissioning, calibration and operation of the CMS barrel pixel detector at Point 5 (CMS, LHC, CERN) (2008-2011). Coordinator of quality assurance of about 1200 pixel modules for the CMS barrel pixel detector (2006-2008). Developer of SW for physics analysis and high level trigger algorithms for B-Physics channels and b-jet tagging in the CMS Experiment (1995-2003). Member of CMS Tracker Institution Board for ITEP (Russia).

Author of about 900 publications in peer-reviewed journals out of which 826 publications within CMS collaboration (4000+ co-authors) and 70 publications prepared by myself or together with a small group of scientists. A reviewer and a guest editor of the Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section A.

Member of the CMS Tracker conference committee (2011-2016). Member of the Swiss Physical Society since 2007. Member of the CMS Collaboration since 1992.
